So, we’re officially at the best week of the year… YES, Christmas is here! 🎄✨ And for that reason, this week’s ‘Weekday Menu Inspiration’ looks a little different.

Let’s be honest – we all already know exactly what’s on this weeks’ menu, and it consists of everything from chocolate, mince pies, cheese boards, turkey dinners, and all that good stuff.

So instead of a usual weekday menu, I’m switching things up and sharing what I’ve got planned this week, as well as some of my favourite Christmas snacks. Because nothing says Christmas quite like enjoying every last bite. 🎅🍽️

So, what am I eating for dinners this week?🍴

Unfortunately, I’ll be working on Monday and Tuesday (the 22nd and 23rd) this week – not quite the most festive start! That said, I do have a trusty stir fry planned, which will see me through both days.

But then… it gets good. 🎄
On Christmas Eve, I’ll be spending the day with my Dad this year, and he’ll be cooking up a delicious chicken curry for us all – the perfect way to kick off the festivities.

If there’s one thing you can always trust Dad with, it’s cooking up a really good dinner.

We’ll most likely round the evening off with a hot choccy in hand, settled down for our festive tradition – the ultimate Christmas film, A Muppet’s Christmas Carol. Nothing beats it🎄☕️

Christmas Day then kicks off bright and early with Me, Mum, Mike and Con going to Parkrun – before diving head-first into a full day of amazing food.

Weekday Menu: Christmas Parkrun

For breakfast, I’m thinking either a cinnamon apple yoghurt bowl or some warming porridge, before our much-loved tradition for dinner: a turkey BBQ. Turkey burgers, roast potatoes, all the usual trimmings, plus a fresh, delicious salad. It might not be the classic Christmas roast everyone expects – but honestly, it’s even better in my opinion.

The evening is all about grazing. Mince pies, chocolates, biscuits, crackers, dips… and plenty more to pick at while we relax and soak it all in.

Boxing Day is also a classic, where we’ll be off to Nan’s for a ‘party food’ buffet. Think pork pies, sausage rolls, mini pies, crackers, cheese, bread, and an impressive amount of cake. Surely it’s not just my Nan who goes all out? 🎂🧀

And believe it – or not – that’s a wrap on Christmas week! And honestly? I can’t think of a better line up.

Some of my favourite Christmas Snacks:😋

  • Mince pies
  • Chocolate selections
  • Cheese and pickle on crackers
  • Pork Pies
  • Stuffing balls
  • Cinnamon (anything really)
  • Gingerbread!
  • Hot chocolate

And many more…

There’s no denying it – Christmas food is simply the best. From warming spices to fresh bakes and hearty, comforting dishes, everything feels a little more magical this time of year. Food doesn’t just create delicious moments; it creates lasting memories.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week and takes full advantage of all the festive food on offer.

Happy Christmas! 🎁🎄
